It's been a sweet year!

1 October marks the first anniversary of SweetAs. What a great journey we have been on! When we look back at the beginning, we realise just how far we have come and how much we have evolved during the past year.  We have learnt heaps, gained a much bigger understanding of the market and tried to get to grips with the big machine that is Google SEO. We have slowly got our heads around Facebook marketing and our campaigns through this medium are now much more successful than they were in the beginning.  I still remember our first lolly box sale and how exciting that was, and that feeling of satisfaction that someone was going to experience and enjoy a sweet box of kiwi favourite lollies.

A few months ago we introduced a “teddy and lollies” gift as a trial. We are happy, but not too surprised, to report that this has become one of our biggest selling gifts for all occasions. Because it is so popular we have decided to expand our range. We are thrilled with this new range which now includes a “get well” teddy and lolly box gift and a “graduation” teddy and lolly box gift. We know that sometimes an expensive bunch of flowers or gift basket is not required and it is the little thoughts that count the most.

Believe it or not Christmas is only 16 weeks away! Research shows that people begin thinking and planning around about now. At the beginning of the year we introduced our corporate lolly boxes, in both the smaller and larger sized boxes and these are proving really successful. People like the concept that we offer the whole package, including their own logo and other personal details that makes it look like it has come from them and not us.
